Hey Book Lovers!
This post is about us REAL women. My friend Kit Henderson created a youtube video to promote heathly body image and self-esteem in women. I agree with every word in this video.
In this world women are meant to be a size 6 - 0, to have perfect skin, tall or avenge height. They are meant to look like what we all see on TV, magazines, TV adds and yes....even sometimes what we read in books. I'm sorry to sat it but NOT all authors write about skinny-minis, they sometimes write about curvy women.
In the UK I am a size 18 (USA size 16), I'm only 5'3 and I think I'm okay looking. I know my friends will see this and yell at me that I'm beautiful but I'm just bonnie looking. All my friends, male to female, all have some meat on their bones. I have a few skinny-mini friends.
Children theses days do have a pressure to be skinny like Posh Spice, Lady Gaga, Sookie from True Blood, Page 3 girls. playboy girls, super models! It disgusts me greatly! What is so wrong with curves? It gives a guy something to hold onto. Curves brings comfort. Curves are curves and it's nothing to be ashamed of.
I can say that I AM CURVY AND BLOODY PROUD OF IT!! :D

Update Tuesday!
Hey Book Lovers!
Before I get to the point of this post I just wanted to let you all know that I passed my resit for my IT for Admin! :D I'm soooo happy about it, so happy that I hugged my tutor! :O So yeah my work load has gone down a lot which is great and that means I have more time to finish reading Dark Lover by J.R.Ward! :D I'm enjoying it but it's kind of confusing when it just jumps to different characters and it dose keep the story interesting.
Remember a while back when Felicity Heaton played that Quote game on Facebook but she moved it to her blog? Well I entered it and I was one of the random winners to win swag! So when I get home from college -after doing spreadsheets all day- I see a letter on my bed. I open it and squeal the house down with enjoy when I see my swag off Felicity! And yes I did my little happy dance! :D So I stuck my swag to my wall under my love heart mirror! :D
So thank you to Felicity Heaton for making my day with the swag! :D

REVIEW: Covet by Felicity Heaton
Hey Book Lovers!
Today was my very last day to study for my IT for Admin resit tomorrow. God I'm so nervous for it! So I thought I would treat myself by reading Felicity Heaton's new book Covet! While I was on the bus I read half the novel and I was really enjoying it and all I could think of while studying was I want to know what happens. Okay okay okay before I start going on about my review here is the book cover, description and a wee bit of a teaser :D

Javier swirled the blood in his crystal whisky glass, staring at it

The soft lighting in the back of the black limousine turned the blood
dark and uninviting. He drank it anyway, forcing it down, and poured
himself another glass from the decanter in the small refrigerator built
into the back of the driver’s seat. He had been drinking more and more
often recently in the hope that it would stave off his growing hunger
for her.
Lilah.
This novel is just amazing! I loved how Felicity created her own Vampire Culture and laws. God it was very refreshing. The forbidden love between Javier and Lilah was beautiful. The fact that they stayed away from each other for two years and all it took was Callum to changed the uniforms for them to jump each others bones! The sex scenes where steamy and hot hot hot! But Snow is my favourite, I just want to hug him even though he will most likely rip out my throat lol!
I 100% recommend this novel to any Felicity Heaton Fans or Vampire Fans! :D

I bought this book when it was free on Amazon UK but now it costs like £1.95 on Amazon UK and about $3.08 on Amazon US :) I read this book a while back because I was waiting on Tracey to get back to me about using her book cover and description. So yeah I got a reply back from her and she's cool about it! :D Thank you so much Tracey! :D
This novel reminds me of when I hang out with friends from Hawick and Selkirk because the way Katherine and the guys act around each other is just how me and friends are! I loved it so much. I couldn't figure out what Frank was, it just stuck on it. I thought to myself 'What the hell is he? He's not a vampire. He could be a demon or a shifter or a were or maybe he could be a hybrid? He's not a wizard or a warlock.' I've read so many paranormal novels to know 80% of all supernatural folk out their and I can spot them just like THAT! But no! I had to wait until Frank told Katherine what he was.
Oh boy this story gets pretty steamy near the end cause Frank and Katherine get it on! If you catch my drift ;D I seriously want my own Frank because I want a guy who has so many different bubble baths lol! XD No but in all seriousness the plot was very well done, I didn't see any of the twists coming at all which was a very nice change because I can normally guess what's going to happen before it happens :D
I 100% recommend this novel to anyone who wants to read this, trust it's worth the read because it's awesome and very well written! You'll get so many laughs and blushes from this book. I swear at one point on the bus I wanted to yell abuse at the bad guy for being a jerk but I couldn't cause I was on the bus and I didn't want people thinking am crazy. Which I'm not.....seriously I'm not crazy :D

Katherine has had a hard time finding work, mostly because she’s a
vampire. Turns out, people aren’t clamoring to work with the undead. She
goes to the massive theme park, Notte Oscura, as a last resort. What

REVIEW: A Taste for a Mate by Carrie Ann Ryan!
Hey Book Lovers! :D
I got board today, so I thought I would finish reading A Tate for a Mate and by god I'm glad I did! :D
Willow Delton is a skinny, bakery owner – the type most woman love to

with green eyes who saunters into her bakery every morning. Her desire
to follow him, to be with him, overrides every rational sense she
possesses.
Jasper and Willow are drawn together, despite every nuisance that
works against them. But evil beyond even Jasper’s supernatural
compensation will make war against him, by going after the only thing in
his eternal life he desires – Willow. Is Willow’s heart enough to
overcome Jasper’s soul to save her life? A fight he cannot win, but to
save her life – he must.
I really enjoyed this book! I thought it was going to be kind of like Kade and Mel's story but I was dead wrong when Willow got kidnapped. When that happened I thought, 'Things just got interesting!' Willow and Jasper's love was pure love, and it got stronger through out the novel - even when Jasper opened his big mouth.
The feud between the Redwood pack and Central pack was very well done. The evilness of the Central's really showed when they summoned a demon but I can't help having a feeling that the demon has his own plan in mind.
I really can't wait for Trinity Bound which is out in April. I can't wait to find out if Reed gets saved and if the Redwood pack will stop the Central's? God I have so many unanswered questions! I 100% recommend this novel to anyone that loves a good Werewolf book! :D

As you all know I read on buses because I can zone out on the way to college and home. Well on Monday I was on the bus flicking through all of my ebooks that I haven't read yet, I looked and looked until I just gave up for about five minutes. I got board listening to my mp3 player so I went back to my kindle and went into the folder I have for all of Felicity Heaton's novels I have on my kindle, and I looked at the newest one I got which was IN HEAT. I remembered it was about shifters and I do love a good shifter story. So I thought 'what the hell? I'll give it a go.' Now I am in love with Erik. OMG! This book is soooo steamy! I love that Felicity hasn't stuck to the normal shifter mating. I love how she has created a different kind. A normal shifter mating is scenting you mate, wooing her, making love to her while biting into her shoulder thus marking her as yours. That is how it's meant to be but Felicity has changed the rules a little. Erik and Kim have been dreaming of each other for years, hot steamy dreams, and that is the only way to know that you have a mate. The hard part is finding him or her and keeping them. I love it when authors go outside of the Paranormal Norm box. I loved the sex scene in the book because I want to make Erik purr! I had to shield my kindle when I was reading the sex scenes on the bus lol!! I thought the family feud between the Blackwell brothers was really good, I really like it when you have a good brother and bad brother. It reminds me of Cinderella and her evil step-sisters but in this case it would be CinderErik and his evil step puma brother lol This novel is 100% awesome and I recommend it to any Shifter fans!

I've been looking forward to reviewing this novella for a while now. Veiled Eyes (Lake People) By C.L.Bevill....
Well this ebook was amazing! I couldn't put it down except when I'm off the bus (Yes I only read on the bus). I found the Lake People's history to be very interesting. I thought the main character Anna was a great heroine, I could really identify with her when she went to Unknown. Gabriel is just yummy because he is Mr.Grabby Hands. I was so shocked when she figured out Gautier's warning. Overall it's a top class ebook and 100% order you to buy it since it's FREE! :D

A vivid waking dream of giant cypress trees dripping with Spanish moss

dark Louisiana bayou with an evocative aura. The dream includes the
presence of a man who seems to know Anna all too well and a group of
people with strange telepathic powers, sometimes called veiled eyes. An
orphan from Texas, she is on her way east to help out a friend when she
encounters two terrifying things. Psychically, she begins to see and
hear things through the eyes of an unknown individual, a man who knows
more about her than she ever would have imagined. The second thing is
that she has been kidnapped by a sociopathic trucker intent on making
her his latest victim. When she is rescued by Gabriel Bergeron, a member
of the elusive Lake People in Northwestern Louisiana, Anna doesn’t
realize that he is her psychic counterpart and she has been inexplicably
pulled to the area. She shares their strange colored gold eyes and
their distinctive mental powers. They are a reclusive lot and know that
Anna is one of them, but has been isolated by unknown circumstances. She
is drawn into their incomparable world, something between that of the
Creoles and Cajuns, and much in addition to those. There Anna finds a
romantic link with Gabriel and the spine-tingling fear of not knowing
who to trust. Her return has disturbed the inner workings of the group
and threatens to expose secrets long concealed in the murky Louisiana
bayous. There are secrets to be divulged about her past and why she was
spirited away as an infant. Anna isn’t safe until she discovers the
answers she so desperately requires.

Recommenced Sunday!

It's that time again where I tell you all the books I think are awesome! Right now I'm camped in my bedroom against the cold, because it's snowing.....in February. Cheers global warming! Anyhoo here are the top five Young Adult and Paranormal Romance Books to read! :D

REVIEW: Midnight Trilogy by Cynthia Eden

I'm sitting in one of the small study rooms at college with a class mate of mine, and I got to thinking about Cynthia Eden's Midnight Trilogy and how amazing they are. So I thought I would share my thoughts on them, I hope you enjoy and will seriously think about investing in them.

I loved this book because it was the first Cynthia Eden book I read. I love Colin and his manly ways, it makes me want to have my own Werewolf. I adore Emily because of her Ice Queen ways, how she never really lets anyone in (I must admit I do that a lot lol) and then in comes a hot headed Werewolf with buns of steel! The mix of crime, sex and passion was just epic and I take my hat off to Cynthia for creating such a awesome story!

I liked this book but not as much as I liked Colin and Emily's book only because no one can beat their story! I have never read a story about a Succubus and Incubus until I read Midnight Sins. I found the story very insightful and by the end of the story I started researching Succubus and Incubus. So double thumbs up for Cynthia Eden and this amazing book! :D

OMG! OMG! You know how I said before about how no one can beat Colin and Emily's story? Well Niol and Holly are my favourite couple of all time! Niol is such a bad boy but when he and Holly get closer he just softens just a little and I LOVE that about him. What? No girl can turn down a bad boy! It's true, just read this book and it will prove my point :D
