REVIEW: Wild Steamy by Carolyn Crane, Jill Myles and Meljean Brook

 Hey Book Lovers!

Some of you who checked out SHIFTER MONDAY  may remember this book or perhaps have read it. Well here is my review of Wild & Steamy!

WILD & STEAMY

Three all-new novellas of the supernatural and steampunk kind...

"THE BLUSHING BOUNDER" by Meljean Brook
A Tale of the Iron Seas - While the search for a killer puts Constable Newberry’s life in danger, he faces a danger of another kind: to his heart, by the woman forced to marry him. What will it take for this prudish bounder to convince his wife to stay? (13K words)

"VIXEN" by Jill Myles
Miko’s denied her were-fox nature for far too long and turned her back on her vixen heritage. But when she meets two very sexy cat-shifters, she has to decide if she truly wants to give up on her frisky side, or embrace it. Because the were-fox in her doesn’t want to choose between both men…it wants them both. (15K words)

"KITTEN-TIGER & THE MONK" by Carolyn Crane
A Disillusionists Novella - Sophia Sidway, Midcity’s most dangerous memory revisionist, seeks out the mysterious Monk in the wasteland beneath the Tangle turnpike, hoping for redemption…but it turns out that the Monk is not all that pious, and the turnpike is no turnpike at all. (20K words)

REVIEW!

The Blushing Bounders, didn't much sense to me. I tried to read it a couple of times to understand the plot line, the wording and the characters. I got confused with who was who in the book. So I just give up in trying to understand it. I guess Steampunk books aren't for me which I think this was a good experience  because I learnt something new about my reading limits. So if you love Steampunk books then this is for you. I've seen the review on Amazon and people seem to love it. But sadly this book isn't for me and it's not very Wild & Steamy. Sorry Meljean!!!!! (2 stars **)

Vixen, WAS Wild & Steamy. It was way too short for me. I would have liked to have read more about Sam and Jere, you know a wee bit more on their background etc. I loved that, Jill, created her own version of Were-foxes, but then again I've only read about Shelly Laurenston's Were-Foxes. It was very easy to read and to understand but again I wish it had been longers. It was very hot and steamy! (4 stars ****)

Kitten-Tiger & The Monk, was good to begin with then I got confused. I thought that Sophia was a tiger shifter or something like that. I didn't understand some of the words in the short story such as 'Tangles'. What does that mean anyway? I think this book was apart of a series so which is why I got confused again. *Headache*  This book was not Wild & Steamy, sadly. Sorry Carolyn!!!!! (2 Stars **)

I was looking forward to three cracking short stories but sadly I was wrong, I only got one cracking story that I understood. But this is a free e-book and who can't say no to a free e-book?! I can't with is why I bought this book lol

Love
